Cissy RS Kantaprawira, the hospital's director, said Wednesday that a 37-year-old woman identified only by her initial E, was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday night after being referred by a doctor with a private practice.

Cissy said that the woman had throat sickness and a fever. She had just arrived from a trip to Singapore on Sunday and felt sick.

The hospital has sent the patient's nose and throat swabs to the Health Ministry's lab in Jakarta, and is still waiting for sample test results from the Ministry.
